Big “I” Recognizes Florida Independent Agent with Spirit of Education of Award
Cindy Webster of the Jack Rice Insurance Agency recognized for her numerous contributions to insurance education.

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 8, 2010 —The Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America (IIABA or the Big “I”) has honored Cindy Webster, Jack Rice Insurance president and CEO, with the Spirit of Education award.

“The Big ‘I’ is proud to present Cindy Webster with the 2010 Spirit of Education award for her numerous contributions to the association’s education efforts, particularly in her leadership role on the Big ‘I’ Virtual University team,” says Madelyn Flanagan, Big “I” vice president of agent development, education and research. “Cindy’s tireless dedication to ensuring that we deliver quality education programs at the national and state association level continue to result in improvements and success.”

Webster formerly served as chair of the Big “I” Virtual University curriculum and research committee. She served on that committee from 2003 to 2010. At the state level, Webster serves as Florida Association of Insurance Agents (FAIA) chairman elect and the FAIA board liaison for Trusted Choice®, the consumer branding program for independent insurance agents and brokers.
 
The Spirit of Education Award was created by IIABA’s Agent Development, Education and Research Department to recognize a person or organization working closely with the national organization to deliver quality education to IIABA members across a variety of platforms. The award was developed as a way to acknowledge the very generous contribution of time, energy, expertise and patience necessary to make an education program or offering successful.

JACK RICE INSURANCE WAS NAMED THE NATIONAL TRUSTED CHOICE® AGENCY OF THE MONTH FOR MARCH 2009, THE FIRST AGENCY EVER AWARDED THIS HONOR IN THE STATE OF FLORIDA

Jack Rice Insurance became the first Florida agency to be named the Trusted Choice® Agency of the Month. Jack Rice Insurance not only has a dedicated staff that represents the Trusted Choice® brand well, but we also have in place the promotional strategies to support it. President and CEO Cynthia M. Webster has served as the FAIA Chairman for the Trusted Choice® Task Force since December of 2005 and Anne R. Farley, Vice President of Agency Operations, has also served on the task force for six years. Our agency marketing pieces contain the Trusted Choice® logo, as well as all of our employee business cards which illustrate the logo clearly. And the Trusted Choice® logo can be distinctly seen on our invoices, letterhead, policy binding covers, e-mail templates, cover letters, envelopes, and brochures and it has instilled in our customers that we are a Trusted Choice® agency. Even our agency storefront displays our intent to "Live the Brand," with a Trusted Choice® flag.
